Groovy Tunes -Friday

Groovy Tunes was open, the 'Now Hiring' sign was on the door. The stereo was blasting the Bee Gees, and Seifer was smirking while he watched the video he had uploaded from his phone.

And he was more than willing to show last night's Barry Gibb Show to anyone who asked. He'd already emailed a copy to Zell back at Garden.

Kenzi wandered in on her break, and stopped inside to declaim, "You owe me, dude. Also, what the hell are you playing?"

"I owe you for what?" Seifer asked as he turned the laptop towards her. "Squall and George got gremlin'd last night."

"Really?" Kenzi bounced forward, looking delighted. "I had the mother of all hangovers for all Sunday, that's what. Did you even suffer a little? And did you get photos of Squall and George?"

"I got video, which is better. And I've already sent it to the biggest loudmouth back at Garden, so he'll make sure everyone sees it."

He smirked when he thought about the hangover part. "I slept a little later than usual, but otherwise I was fine."

"You are so getting plastered on my choice of vodka some night," Kenzi threatened, wandering over to lean on the counter. "I wanna see the video. And God, end the disco. My ears want to rip themselves off my head and escape."

"Okay, on both accounts."

Seifer reached over and hit the stop button on the stereo system and then hit play on the video.

Kenzi didn't stop laughing for several minutes.

"...oh that was so totally worth it." She sighed and draped herself on the counter, still giggling. "I need to hang out in the Common Rooms more."

Seifer nodded and stuck a dvd in the computer to make a copy. "It's better than any birthday present I could have gotten."

"You had a birthday and I missed it? Dude! Free drinks at Caritas, my night," Kenzi ordered, flipping through the music on the counter.

"Yeah, just before Christmas," he said, tossing her a gift card. "Here, go nuts. It's on me."

"Ah!" Kenzi bounced up to kiss his cheek, then twirled, holding the gift card high. "Muuuuuuusic! Yes! I need to find the Goths!"

"Over there, under the G sign," he told her, pointing to the left of the counter.

"Thank youuu--" Kenzi bopped over to pick out some Strawberry Switchblade and Alien Sex Fiend, and found a new Voltaire while she was at it. And some old-skool Dead Can Dance. "So, how's the whole blending-into-the-world here project going?"

"It's going okay. Found a guy from back at Garden to take care of my paperwork issue. He bitched the whole time about how stupid and backwards the security systems here were."

"Heh. Shouldn't have that made it easier for him?" Kenzi brought her choices over to the register, leaning on the counter again. "Didja take all the placement tests and crap yet?"

"Yeah, but he likes to bitch about those things. And then charge me a huge fee." Which, Seifer was use to.

"I've got my SAT scores sent to the ones I mailed apps in to, and now I'm just waiting to hear back."

Kenzi held up crossed fingers for him. "Here's hoping, dude. Hey, if you road-trip to the campuses, I want to go with." She grinned. "I could use a vacation.

George was intending to avoid the entire world today, but changed her mind so she could stop in at her music store. Because hey, maybe music would cheer her up.

... oh.

"You're the worst fucking roommate ever," she announced.

Seifer just grinned.

"No, I am the best, most awesome roommate, because not only did I get your best side, but most of the video is of Squall and that thing he glued on his chest."

In case you just don't want to know.

I love this game. Also sp because napping due to 12 hour roadtrip tonight.
