Elphaba was going to take her punishment with dignity. She might not have wanted to work this job, she might not have wanted to even really be in the shop again. But given what would happen if she and Britta did not do so, well, she found this the better alternative.

She spent much of her time staring at the Squishy machine. What sort of tik-tok witchery was that thing, any way?

Except during Period 4. Where she thankfully was allowed to take a break to go to class.

...and after which, she was now ready to set fire to any dolls that attempted to come in the shop.
