The sound system at the music store seemed to have a mind of its own today. No matter what CD Petra put in or playlist she loaded, what came out of the speakers was more along these lines. At first she'd assumed it was some kind of prank, but when she tried hooking her own iPod up to the system it betrayed her as well.
"Are you kidding me?" she groaned, and put her head down on the counter.
