The Perk, Tuesday Morning
Simon seemed to be having a good week for once. He'd made the most of Spring Break in Rio if largely handwavily, taking in the sights, doing a bit of parkour... He'd even braved the crowds during the carnival, though invisible. It was the best way to people watch.
He was glad he'd gone.
Of course, his cheeks and nose were still suffering from how they'd been burned by the harsh Brazilian sun, but he didn't mind. They'd heal. And they seemed to be providing entertainment for Nathan – the one at home. Simon had texted a picture of his poor face to Alisha, who'd apparently shown it to the group since it hadn't been more than fifteen minutes until the first message from Nathan had arrived, filled with profanity and a baffling paradox of both accusing Simon of sending filthy, filthy photos to Alisha, and neglecting to send Nathan anything.
To be honest, the texts were making Simon smile to himself as he walked into the Perk for a morning cup of tea.
[ooc: Open post in town is ooopen.]

"You're going to want to put something on that," she said. Sloth, peering over her shoulder, squeaked in agreement.

And then he blinked some more at the sloth. Because, well, sloth. Even here, that was odd.
And then he realized he'd been so startled by the animal that he'd actually forgotten what the woman had said. "... Excuse me?"

"Your sunburn," she said, not unsympathetically. "I hope you're using something on it."

Be more awkward, Simon.

"Zinzi December," she said, offering her hand.
