The streets of Fandom, Saturday afternoon

Pinkie was trotting along on a lovely weekend jaunt around the island, waving hello and offering good wishes for the day to whomever she passed. It was a gorgeous Saturday afternoon, and she wasn't one to let such a thing pass her by without getting out and about in it. Sure, the residents of Fandom were generally way less likely to burst spontaneously into song with her, but no one was perfect. . . .

[ooc: expecting one, but open, natch.]

And then a rainbow colored blur came zipping up out of nowhere, tackling Pinkie in a cloud of yellow and pink dust, shrieking "MOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOM!" all the way.

Lingonberry pulled herself together and started prancing around Pinkie in a wide circle. "Mom! Momomomomomom! There was a portal and then I was here and I don't know where we are and I can't find Mom or Mom or Mom or Mom or Mom or ANY OTHER PONIES AT ALL!"

It was a little bit hard to tell if she was excited by this, or terrified. A little bit of both, probably.

"Well, I found you," Lingonberry pointed out.

Lingonberry giggled delightedly. "I don't have twelve moms, Mom, I have six! And I already found you!"

'You're my very favoritest main mom," Lingonberry confirmed.

Of course, she always said that to which ever mom she happened to be talking to, but Pinkie was at least the mom who gave her her name.

"I don't know, I was only a baby then!"

[identity profile] momsresponsible.livejournal.com 2012-03-31 06:09 pm (UTC)(link)
"Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, and Mom!"

[identity profile] momsresponsible.livejournal.com 2012-03-31 06:10 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh! Sorry. Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity."

"My name is Lingonberry Pie," Lingonberry offered. "And I can do this!" And she crouched down and then rocketed up into the air (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8I0mMSzEveY), sending off sparks from nowhere.

Ana was being careful not to let her father and little brother out of her sight, while at the same time, trying to take everything in at once.

But the sight of a pink pony stopped her dead in her tracks. She stared, fascinated.

Zomg! It talked!

Ana gaped for a moment, but then remembered her manners. She executed a perfect curtsey. "Good morning. My name is Anastasia. I am very pleased to meet you."

[identity profile] cobra-kids.livejournal.com 2012-03-31 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
"I am very new!" Ana giggled. "Thank you very much! Are there many talking ponys here? Daddy hasn't mentioned them." It was possible that her father didn't know about them.

[identity profile] cobra-kids.livejournal.com 2012-03-31 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Her father had mentioned that Fandom was connected to many strange places.

"Is Ponyville where you're from?" Ana asked, who had never really been anywhere. "What's it like?"

[identity profile] cobra-kids.livejournal.com 2012-03-31 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Well now Ana couldn't think of any way a town full of ponies could be anything but wonderful.

"Are they as friendly as you?" she asked. And that was when she noticed Pinkie's cutie mark. "Oh! You have a tatoo just like daddy!"

[identity profile] cobra-kids.livejournal.com 2012-03-31 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
"A ladder." Ana said. "Well it looks kind of like a ladder. He says it's the mark of the Ar..Ary..." She'd have to ask him again how to pronounce it. "Our family. He says I'm too young to get it though." She sounded not so happy about that.

She was totally calling it her father's cutie mark from now on.

But she was soooo grown up! Even daddy had told her she was very mature for five.

"How did you earn yours?" she asked.

This was one little girl who did not mind non-sequitors.

She gaped for a moment though. "You invented parties?"

[identity profile] cobra-kids.livejournal.com 2012-04-01 12:55 am (UTC)(link)
"I never thought of it before." Ana said. "I'm sure glad you did it though! I hear they're lots of fun."

[identity profile] cobra-kids.livejournal.com 2012-04-01 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Ana sighed resignedly. "No. But I only just woked up a few days ago. We haven't had time for a lot of stuff yet."

[identity profile] cobra-kids.livejournal.com 2012-04-01 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh no!" Ana clarified. "Well Tommy makes a lot of noise sometimes so it kinda feels like that. But I was asleep for five years."

[identity profile] cobra-kids.livejournal.com 2012-04-01 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
"I guess. I don't remember falling asleep, I just remember waking up when Daddy and Mommy came to get me."
