Stark Industries [all day]

After spending a few days on Eros, Ben had some catching up to do on news from home. After laughing a bit at Jaina's voicemail message, he started in on Aunt Leia's reports about the negotiations from Klatooine. A few days listening to Ender's colonists' thoughts and complaints had given Ben new insight and a new respect for how good his aunt was at negotiations.

He'd be happy to help anyone who stopped in, though, especially if they brought coffee.

Samus, unfortunately, had not brought coffee. She was mostly checking in to meet these kids who were supposedly working at her new store.

The fact that she was growing to like the place more and more every day left her a little unsettled.

"Ben Skywalker?" she presumed, coming into the shop to check on things today and considering the young man behind the counter with a brief little look-see with the scanner on her visor.

She almost told him to not call her ma'am, but she was going to let it slide.

There was a snort coming from inside the helmet that almost resembled a laugh, and, congratulations, Skywalker, you've been approved. "That era's beyond up now," she said, but she wasn't about to say that they would never have to worry about her growing terrible facial hair, because never say never. "Either way, get ready for a lot of shipments coming in the next few weeks. This place needs some major upgrades in stock."

There was no way she was waiting a week in her Zero Suit again once Gardner and his girlfriend decided to get freaky in their house again.

"I still haven't figured out exactly how it compares to this world," Samus admitted, "but I have a feeling it's quite a bit in the future, in a galaxy far, far away."

There were a lot of planets out there, so Samus took a second to think about it and even search her database before she came up with, "Not a thing. Does Zebes mean anything to you?"
