Groovy Tunes - Monday after Classes
Seifer was slowly sorting through paperwork, and doing that stock thing he liked to do. Which meant he was making stacks out of the CD cases. One pile being carefully stacked on the counter to be put away, the other was more cases carelessly tossed into a cardboard box.
Said box would be drug out back and set on fire soon. He had plenty of paperwork for kindling purposes.
And that HELP WANTED sign was still on the door.

Talk To Seifer
Re: Talk To Seifer
"Um, excuse me?"
Re: Talk To Seifer
The grin was because he was going to have so much fun burning Beiber.
"Newbie? We have a great discount. It's even better if you're an employee."
Hint, hint.
Re: Talk To Seifer
Her attention had drifted, slightly, into the box where he was throwing CDs, looking vaguely concerned.
Re: Talk To Seifer
"I think, as long as you attend school at Fandom, you're eligible to work here. Can you count Earth Standard money? Work a cash register? Know good music from crap?"
He motioned toward the box as he said 'crap'. "Are you morally opposed to the burning and disposal of said crap?"
Re: Talk To Seifer
because she wasn't Britta. But yes to all the other things. At least I like to think I do."And she eyed the boy for a moment, half tempted to ask if he knew the difference, but if she wanted a job, that didn't sound like a smart move.
Re: Talk To Seifer
It was mostly abstract at this point, because Seifer had no idea what he was doing with it.
"Then cool, you have a job. What days do you want to work?"
Re: Talk To Seifer
"Um, Wednesdays?" she tried.
Re: Talk To Seifer
"Wednesdays are all yours, then." He reached under the counter and then tossed a key on top.
"There you go. Open up when you get here, if there's stock, you sort it for put-away or toss. Lock up when you go. Oh, and I will usually put an envelope in the back office with your pay, but if it's not there, go ahead and take it out of drawer, just leave a note."
Yeah, they were really trusting at Groovy Tunes.
Re: Talk To Seifer
She felt like she should rob the place blind just because it seemed as though they were just asking for it, but, then again, it was a small island and having a key probably made her a pretty big suspect in a big heist now.
"And, so...selling things, and weeding out the crap," she noted. "Any other job duties I should be aware of?"
The guy didn't even know her name; she shook her head, still a little astounded.

She shifted a little awkwardly. "Thanks."

Hey, he was more worried about his upcoming move and things getting lost by Portal City.

Like some boys and their girl issues. Not that he was going to name names.

Re: Talk To Seifer
"At graduation, the baby island threw drop bears and creepy living dolls at us in an attempt to kill us."
He might have a severed doll head on his desk back in the dorm. And was possibly using it as a lamp.
