Caritas, Saturday
Apparently, Tino thought that he and April were friends, and that April was interested in listening to his ideas about cool new pick-up liines he wanted to try.
Tino was mistaken.
"Are you ever going to shut up?" April asked him dully after about twenty minutes of this horrible treatment.
It seemed like a no.
And so the headdesking began. Or head-bar-ing, rather.

The Bar
Re: The Bar
Hello, April. Sarah had no manners. Well, except for saying 'thanks'. Other than that, she really just walked up to the bar.
Re: The Bar
So that would be a gin and tonic being assembled fairly expediently and then slid across the bar to Sarah.
"Hey."
Talkative, too.
Re: The Bar
Considering they'd been at the same party last weekend, it was probably both.

Re: The Bar
Stupid SPA. Even though it hadn't all been bad.

Re: The Bar
Very sympathetic, April.
"Think the timing matches up pretty well to what I'm used to," she added. "Far as I've bothered to check, anyway."

Re: The Bar
"Why I'll keep on being stuck, or why I'm in community service?"
Re: The Bar
...Or drive a lawnmower through a Nordstrom, if you were April.
Re: The Bar
That was her story and she was sticking to it.
Re: The Bar
She'd've liked Sarah a lot better if she'd been the aggressor, okay.
"So now you're, what, picking up trash here?"
Re: The Bar
"Teaching," she said, as if it was about the same thing. "Superhero things."
Re: The Bar
"Trash would probably be more fun."
April was not a fan of children.
"Sorry."
For having to teach. Not for the remark. April was rarely sorry for her remarks.
