April had had a very weird day.
She'd driven a bus -- badly -- and dealt with teenagers, and then later in the afternoon she'd been accosted by a pink pony claiming to be her buddy. By the time she got to the bar, when Tino opened his mouth to babble about the Perk girl and her new haircut, April was forced to take drastic measures.
"The girl at the Perk has two weeks to live," she informed him. "So you'd better get out of here and go see her. Like now."
