All April wanted to do -- literally, this was the one thing -- was read her book. There was an annoyingly loud puppy back in her apartment that she completely did not find adorable at all actually really liked but needed some space from, so when she got to the bar, her one and only priority was reading her zombie book.
Unfortunately, Tino was in tears over the loss of the barista's love, so that was proving difficult.
"I'll fire you if you don't shut up," she lied, lacking, as she did, the power to fire people, but Tino kept up the sobs.
