The Boardwalk, Saturday Afternoon
"No, you can't! I've built my life here! I've changed!"
Natalie had had to excuse herself from Sam's presence to take this call, because it was private and possibly life-altering. So what better place to take it than out in the open in a public place! Of course, it was pretty vague, and the only thing that was obvious was that Natalie's dark and mysterious Montreal past was threatening to come back to haunt her. What that dark past actually was remained shrouded in mystery, of course. Possibly because the writers were just making this up as they went along. But it was horrible, all the same. Natalie had worked so hard to move on from her past. Both the one from before she'd ever set foot on Fandom, and whatever bad things she'd done as part of the Bavarian mafia on island! She'd even cut her hair short! And now it was all about to crumble.
She took a shuddering breath and pleaded one last time, "Please don't do this.
Ending the call, she looked dramatically into the distance and looked like she was holding back a tidal wave of emotions. Oh yeah, someone was trying to get a few awards this season.
[ooc: Why would a post like this be anything but open during SOW?]

since the writers hadn't gotten the memo that it wasn't called that anymore. While Mia had no idea what she was doing here, she couldn't draw attention to that, or people might start wondering what was wrong. So seeing the girl with the tidal wave happening, she said, "You look like you could use a friend." And she said it only a little potentially evilly.

... Of course, it was hard to tell how much of that still held true. There'd been shoddy retconning in places.
"It's just an ordinary day," she sniffed. "I'm just out here enjoying a breath of fresh air."

Somehow.

Seriously, it was a little over the top.
"How?"

Oh hey, look who was getting blackmailed now!

... Wow, that was just embarrassing.
