Caritas, Friday Evening
Mike had been caroled at by gremlins about ten times today. Twice since he'd come to work.
Yeah, this was definitely different from the last... five or so of Mike's Christmases where the main feature of the pre-holiday season had been a bunch of Christmas shows for semi-drunken businesswomen and the like. He honestly couldn't say which he preferred. But Christmas wasn't really his thing, anyway. As far as his plans for the holiday went, he had a vague invitation from Brooke to come back down to Tampa to spend it with her and Adam that he probably wasn't going to take. He'd already sent his gift ahead of time, anyway, and traveling cost money.
And right now he had a bar to wipe down, and a specials board to update. That money didn't earn itself.
