The Park, Early Tuesday Morning
So Allie's first trip to space had been rather eventful. It wasn't the quiet visit they'd planned on, but overall, she'd had fun.
At least until she'd woken up at sunset on Monday evening. It wasn't that she didn't dream, it's just that usually those dreams were some sort of psychic link to the other vampires of her line, and Allie hadn't had one of those since she'd come to the island and been cut off from returning home. The dreams she'd had Monday weren't anything like those. The line of a jaw, the cling of fabric to a well muscled...
Yeah. Allie wasn't going to think about it.
Which was a lot easier said then done.
After a very restless night of roaming the island, Allie was in her usual spot in the shaded corner of the park running through sword katas.
They weren't as big of a distraction as she would have liked.

Most of his migraines were unavoidable, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to try his utmost best anyway.
He had to slow as he spotted Allie, because... sword.
Wasn't sure if starting a conversation right now was a good idea, though. Weird couple of days.

"Dammit," she muttered as she dropped the sword to her side. It looked like today's workout was over. "Remember when I said this could be very relaxing? Yeah, today, not so much."

"I guess so," he admitted. "Don't know if it's going full-blown migraine on me, but... better not to take my chances."

She hopped up and perched in her usual spot on the back of the park bench. How long the restless energy that had been plaguing her all night let her stay there was anyone's guess.

The hell?

... wait, she'd probably been asleep since they got back.

Weird about covered it.
...'horny' probably covered it better.

sexualexperience. It meant Allie still hadn't figured out exactly why she and everyone else on the island felt so off. Which was why she made a completely innocent offer."Well if they get too weird, you can come hang out at my place. The couch is comfy."

A beat.
"Unless you're a vorcha trying to kill me."

The restless was back, urging Allie to her feet. She gathered up the jacket she'd shed when she started practicing and slung the sword case over her shoulder. "I know this weekend wasn't quite what you had planned for our visit. But I had fun, so thanks for that."

She glanced towards the slowly brightening sky, "Anyway, I'd better get inside. I have a feeling I'm going to hate the summer."

"I think I might learn to swim."

Water. Everywhere.
"But still. That was brave."

Except the talk of water had her brain supplying images that Allie really didn't want to contemplate. It was a really good thing vampires couldn't blush.
"Okay, sun's rising. Talk to you later. Bye!"
And the normally under control vampire fled
to finish all her freaking packing for vacation.no subject
"...Okay."
