Abandoned Warehouse District, Late Wednesday
So after the whole being kidnapped to a dungeon fiasco -- which was definitely NOT OKAY -- Bay spent a couple days moping around her room, trying to figure out how to tell her parents that she was quitting boarding school after barely a semester but it wasn't because she was some kind of homesick flake. Or because she was on the verge of being expelled or flunking out.
Slowly, very slowly, she decided she ... maybe wasn't quitting. Maybe she'd stick around for the summer. Just to prove she could.
Besides, she'd had a lot of time to think during her moping, and now she had an art project to work on. So late Wednesday, she put on a dark jacket, gathered her hair into a ponytail, and tucked stencils and paints into a cloth bag before setting off for the streets of warehouses near the docks. Once she was there -- and she'd only about jumped out of her skin at a sudden noise two or three times -- she quickly taped up the stencils and went to work.
When she was done, the mural would feature a pink alot holding a key at the center of a labyrinth that disappeared into dark, threatening clouds at the borders. At the bottom, she planned to write: WE WERE HERE.
Some things, Bay believed, deserved memorials.
[OOC: Open, if you're the lurking-by-the-warehouses-at-night sort.]

So she took a walk. It was probably a little later than was strictly safe for walking around the warehouse district, but she had a dinosaur with her. How dangerous could it be?
When the light from her phone as she walked illuminated a flash of color on the wall of a warehouse, Gert turned sharply, expecting to see a person about to attack her or something, but instead what she spotted was the coolest piece of art she'd ever seen. "Holy crap," she said aloud. "That's kickass, huh, girl?"
Old Lace yawned. Maybe she agreed. Hard to tell.
[[I'm about to sleep but I wanted to have her notice this. 'Stablishy?]]
