Despite being the first week of classes, it had been kind of a quiet week for Jessica. Everything was kind of in a holding pattern back home except for, um, the leak that mutants were essentially created by the government as part of early genetic testing, which created Wolverine and spread from there. That was kind of a big thing, but no action had happened anywhere because of it yet.

But with yet another plate in the air back home before everything came crashing down and resulting with the entire world ending in a fiery blaze, Jessica figured tonight was a good night to get out there and do some more training as Spider-Woman. Tonight, she lugged a bunch of practice dummies onto a warehouse roof (don't ask where she got them, it was a trade secret). Tonight the training was aiming webs on the human body, using webs to launch projectiles, and regular old punching. It was therapeutic AND prepared her for upcoming doom and gloom. The perfect combination.
