An abandoned warehouse rooftop, Tuesday Evening

She'd gotten yelled at. By a cat.

Yeah, okay, so it had been months since she'd transformed, but it wasn't like there were yoma or Dark Agency forces here to root out, or evil to fight! Didn't she totally get a break from being a Guardian of Justice when there wasn't even much in the way of littering? Let alone Crime?

Apparently not. Which was why she was out here, wind on her face for a moment before she flipped her compact up into the air. "HENSHIN YO!"

Sailor Venus was out on patrol tonight, her red domino mask firmly in-place as she jumped from building-to-building, keeping an eye on Fandom.

[OOC: Open post to anyone who might be out on rooftops or in the warehouse district. Minako's identity NFB: Magical Girl Secret Identity Magic means Minako isn't instantly recognizable, but you can totally think she seems familiar.]

Well, Jessica was still in a bit of a funk about recent events (probably understandable...), so she decided to do what she typically did in these moods: throw on her costume and make her way around rooftops until she felt either better or too tired to care anymore.

At the moment, Spider-Woman dove off a roof from a running start, snagged a rooftop with a web, and held on until her momentum swung her all the way around and onto the roof. She was just about to spring from that into a leap to the building across the street when she noticed somebody else on the roof.

She was actually in mid-bounce when she caught herself, causing an awkward rising and lowering motion as she said, "Nice night for some rooftop loitering, isn't it?"

"It's Fandom. All nights are slow crime nights," Spider-Woman said. "If you're the lurking time, you'd better bring a game or something, because you'll get bored fast."

"I actually got a graffiti artist once," Jessica said. "And since I haven't seen a run of graffiti around here, I'm going to assume that she learned to fear human spiders with nothing better to do with their time."

"Well, there is spider DNA somewhere in here," Spider-Woman said, tapping her wrist. "I was mostly going for effect with the 'human spider' thing. Because of the theme."

"Usually it's more like I drop out of the darkness, make fun of their fashion sense, startle them a little, and then make fun of them some more as I web them up," Spider-Woman mused. "I mean, they might be scared, but I think that's more because they're sensitive about their clothes."

"Hey, I've got to distract them from the pain somehow," Spider-Woman said. "I mean, I can't carry around an ice pack for every criminal I punch in the face. It's impractical."

"Ever been to New York? Because the crooks there earn their face-punchings," Spider-Woman said. "I mean, I'm not saying I web them up and get slap-happy, but sometimes it's the fastest way to finish things off."

[My brain is jelly and I cannot spell tonight.]

"Eh, I wouldn't worry about that too much. I mean, there's plenty of villains to go around," Spider-Woman said. "Some days it's hard to take a walk around the block without stumbling into at least three crimes. Those aren't very good days."
