Devil's Nest, Friday Evening

Last night's movie scores became tonight's Broadway Soundtracks. Allie wasn't sure if she should be surprised that Tiny knew the words to everything the DJ played. It wasn't too bad, until he started caterwauling along to a song about midnight and the moon losing its memory.

It was almost enough to make Allie miss being a bat.

"Kaidan struck me that way, but it seemed too good to be true." Éponine looked at her curiously. "You've never expected anything of me, and neither has Jack, nor Kitty, nor Kenzi, and I can't help thinking that either you will soon, or there's something very wrong with all of you," she concluded with a bewildered laugh.

"Considering I've had the same thoughts about the same people, I don't know." She shrugged, bemused. "I'm going to have to go with something being wrong with us."

Honestly, that was the easiest way for her to think about it, so Éponine was willing to go with that explanation too.

"Completely mad, the lot of you," she informed Allie solemnly. "Everyone on this damned island, I'm beginning to think."

Éponine tilted her head, shrugged, and flung one hand out in some sort of vague careless gesture. "May as well all be mad together then, shall we?"
