Abandoned Warehouse District, Thursday Afternoon
The Spirit was back in town after an urgent visit to his beloved Central City (not to mention his beloved Ellen Dolan). You might have thought his first order of business would have been a trip to his office, or at the least the administrative one, to inquire after how his class had gone without him there. But considering his ingenious way of recruiting a TA, maybe it wasn't so surprising that the school was nowhere near being a priority.
The warehouse district was. See, since he was apparently sticking around for the rest of the summer, he needed an on-island hideout, because commuting from around the mainland could get cumbersome. And it really was nice to have some kind of a permanent homebase.
Even if it was in an abandoned warehouse. So, he was leisurely skulking around the area now (yes, that was a thing), peering into nooks and crannies, testing doors, that kind of thing. Seeing if there were any cats around. He didn't even mind the rain. He was more at home when it was a little darker, anyway, and it wasn't as if a little bit of rain could kill him. That'd take a whole lot more.
He thought he was going to like it here.
[ooc: Open, should you have any reason to be in the warehouse district in the rain.]
