Devil's Nest, Friday Evening

It was almost as if the DJ had heard Allie's conversation with Jono the previous evening. He was playing a collection of classic women rockers. No one could find that objectionable.

Allie settled in to listen and work her way through the next level of candy crush.

At one point a triumphant "YES!" was heard from Allie's perch near the bar. Someone had finally beaten level 147.

Allie rolled her eyes at the innuendo. "I have plenty of ways to deal with frustration."

Most of them involved repeating sword katas ad nauseam. The poor girl really did need to learn the benefits of casual sex.
