The Perk | Tuesday Morning
It had been insanely quiet for Stiles the past few weeks, and instead of being relieved it actually made him feel kind of on edge. Probably the last thing he needed was caffeine but he stayed up all night on his phone reading Gaga and Katy Perry stan wars on ONTD. Shut up and let him have his hobbies, okay? At least that meant Jackson only had to deal with an hour or two of Stiles' cuddling rather than all night.
Stiles had deluded himself into thinking Jackson was the type of jerk who needed a good cuddle every now and again so he refused to feel bad about it.
Was that---yes, more stan wars for him to read! And this time indoors surrounded by coffee.
[Spoiler alert: It was me staying up all night reading Gaga and Katy Perry stan wars. I'm ashamed. Anyways, open post]

In any event, though, he now found himself on the island and wanting coffee, so he thought he might as well try the local cafe.
He looked around as he waited, and spotted one of his students, nodding hello. "Mr. Stilinski."

He just hadn't guessed just which FBI agent was on the case.
"Assisting the FBI seems cool. I'd love to do something like that for a living."

Wait. That came out wrong. Don't read that narrative, Stiles.
"Hi, Stiles," he said dryly, like a normal person. He looked over at the creepy barista that he possibly had a love affair with on one of the horrible weekends that won't be mentioned ever again. Then, with a pained sigh, held up a finger to get himself a cup of coffee.

"Was that so hard?" Not dirty. "Also stop smelling me."

And now so did you. But, let's be real, everyone from Beacon Hills smelled a little like Macy's and Reese's Peanut-butter Cups.

Oh, phrasing.

Yes. Please rethink that phrasing, Stiles.
