The Beach, Sunday Afternoon
Planning out a day, or a series of days, was not something Yeul had to do frequently.
It wasn't distasteful so much as it was unusual, and while she supposed she could write out a plan or even a timetable, Yeul did not find herself particularly motivated to do so. She knew which places she thought might be interesting to others, and while some were dangerous, Caius would be there and they would be safe, so she saw no reason to have them avoid those areas.
A walk on the beach, she thought, was really much better than trying to write anything down when it all seemed like so much fuss and bother for just a couple of days home, even with visitors in tow.
Besides, it would be nice just to be home. Why fuss?
[Expecting one, but open if you don't mind SP since I'll be out all afternoon.]

Which was exactly what she was doing right now, head bowed and eyes closed.

She did not try to disturb her. Yeul stopped a few steps away, and waited patiently.
Either her presence would be acknowledged or it would not be.

"Yeul!"

"Are you alright?" she asked softly. "I didn't mean to startle you."

Solemn words, from a girl who still had sand on her face.

"My apologies," she said, "for interrupting your prayers."

"It's similar to parts of my home as well," Yeul confided. "Though I would enjoy it even if it wasn't."

Just the ocean instead of people.

"So," she said at last, "How have you been?"

She was silent for a moment, then added, "Would your relative lack of things to do mean you are free this coming week?"
