The Rooftops & Streets of Fandom, Thursday Night
Class today had managed to make Minako miss her more... colorful alter-ego. What? She totally rocked the seifuku and domino mask, don't judge! And most of her 'training' here was Artemis glaring until she picked up her iPad and read through the reports he had compiled about the Dark Kingdom and her previous life. Not exactly the yoma-stomping she'd been hoping for.
It was still weird, reading about herself. Who she had been, and what she had been like, that as a senshi, she had lead her fellow soldiers into battle to protect the galaxy and their princess.
And failed, spectacularly. Through no fault of their own, that Minako could discern, but still. Failed.
Which was why tonight Sailor Venus was racing over rooftops, flinging herself from building to building and racing through the streets to make sure she still had the layout of Fandom memorized. This time, she wasn't going to fail. She would train harder, be better. This time, she was going to be strong enough to be the guardian that her world deserved. For both worlds, really, Earth and Venus. Also? She totally needed the work-out. She didn't have a volleyball team here to help her blow off her excess energy.
She was the beautiful soldier of love and justice, the goddess of beauty and war, Sailor Venus. Please, let there be CRIME tonight that she could stop. Otherwise she was just going to be free-running all night. In heels. And no one wanted that.
[OOC: OPEN! As usual, the identity of Sailor Venus is NFB due to the joys of Magical Girl Syndrome. If you have someone who'd figure it out, hit me via email.]
