Drac didn't have the room for children to play properly, despite having an entire suite at the hotel. So. Phone calls had been made and coin had been promised and today, Drac was going to open the largest of the available warehouses as a temporary indoor amusement park for kids.

A few rides, some games. A giant ball pit and pool of legos (Whatever those were)... There was even a small area with food and a rest area for grownups. And if you were old enough and into the slightly scary, Drac had made sure that there was a section of the warehouse set up as a 'secret passage' that would lead any wandering youth around the building through several maze like halls.

He set Mavis down and smiled as she bounced in place at his side. "Wait for it, my little blood orange."

His cape dramatically flew up and billowed as he spread his arms wide and made his voice boom: "WELCOME ALL! TO FUN-HOUSE TRANSYLVANIA!" ... "Fandom Island location, of course."

And before he even un-billowed his cape, Mavis was scooting under it and squealing as she headed in. Drac smiled happily and glided after her. Soon the place would be full of children's laughter and joy... This was going to be a very good day.

Just... lots of legos and duplos and whatever you can build stuff with. Drac had just shrugged and agreed once told it was safe for the tinier ones.

okay, there were also little slides and other playground equipment in this area, but... GIANT! SLIDES!

Slides! Slides sounded like so much fun! Cecil was going to spend a lot of time on these.

Kenzi was that kid who had to try to climb up them backwards for a bit before determining that no, that really wasn't do-able.

And then end up sliding a *lot*.

Cecil giggled as he slid down past her, then turned around and tried running up behind to help. "Here!"

"Hey!" Kenzi started giggling too as Cecil started tugging on her. "It's slippy, we need better shoooes."

"Shoes with spikes on bottom!" Cecil agreed. Or maybe at least sneakers. He kicked off his shoes, but his socks were slippy, too, so he tossed them to the bottom, too.

And slid down while he tugged them off.

So he giggled and tried barefoot, which actually was a little easier. "We just haveta make it to the first flat part!"

Kenzi slid down and took off her shoes and socks too, seeing Cecil do it, then got a running start. "Onetwothreego!"

"Go!" Cecil agreed, and ran as hard as he could. And he made it, just barely! And grabbed for Kenzi to help her and slid all the way back down, laughing.

Kenzi was chortling, and sliding down on her side, which gave her the great idea of stomach-surfing. "Head-first this time!" Another running start, and then she was climbing to the second hill, turning back to hold out a hand to Cecil. "We'll be surfers!"

"Yay!" Cecil grabbed her hand and pulled himself up, then wiggled around face-first. "Go!"

"Ahahahahhaa!"

Kenzi got a little tangled in her tutu, but still got to the bottom before Cecil. "I win I win!" Dance of victory!

"All hail the mighty...um..." Cecil held up both hands to her.

"KENZI!" Kenzi high-fived him, then pulled on his hands. "Which is way better than my long name. Not telling that. What's yours?"

"All hail the mighty Kenzi!" He let her pull him up. "I'm Cecil! You're a really good slider."

"Thanks. You're pretty good too. I've got plenty of practice. Not just on slides. Escalators and stairs too." Kenzi grinned and pointed upward. "To the top of the mountain!"

"Mountains aren't real!" Cecil protested, but he grinned back and started trying to run for the top again.

"This one isn't, but they are somewhere," Kenzi pointed out. C'mon, Canada had them! They were everywhere!

"My school says they're not," Cecil answered, but he shrugged. He was having too much fun to argue. "Who cares? Race you to the top!"

"Oh, school. What do they know?"

Yeah, Kenzi never had seen the point to it much.

"HA!" Racing! Much better!

TOTALLY BETTER THAN THE ONE IN THE DORMS, OKAY?

Okay so the animals were animatronic and basically only nodded their heads, but you could climb on them! And there was even someone wandering around who probably had a NPCamera, if you wanted your picture taken with the giant cheetah!
