Streets of Fandom, Saturday evening and night
This time Drac had heard the radio announcement and he was not best pleased at being threatened. He'd been through this already and definitely knew what to do...
Grab Mavis and run away.
Only, this time there were more monsters here that he worried about. And apparently they were out there in the streets, fighting. That was insane! Right. Well, then. Time to go get everyone. And if they didn't want to get away and be safe... there was always the option to hypnotize them. Someone in this town had to show they cared about them, after all.
So now Drac was walking the streets, a very grumpymodded Mavis tailing behind him, and collecting various students and other fellow monsters. He figured he could take them back to the hotel and contact their families from there.
...
He was going to be a very upset vampire when he finds out there are no Portals connecting to his Transylvania for at least two weeks.
[open! It's note necessary, but if you want Drac to hypnotize your character into joining, let me know! Also, any attacks? Drac will totally fend off, dunworry kids! Mavis modded with permission]

She didn't expect the first person she saw to be her old teacher.
"Mr. Dracula. Are you going to help, too?"

The Preserve. Really. Did Count Dracula look like the kind of monster who could escape to the wilds?
Unless, was there another castle back there...? No no. He shook his head. Best to leave entirely. "No, we are going to do at least one more tour of town before we leave. Make sure that we have as many people with us as we can possibly manage to find. And then we shall all of us leave here."

She frowned, catching up with what his game plan was. "Wait, you're going to leave? That's not helping!"

"You will have your own room in my Hotel for as long as you need, and you can contact your family from there. Perhaps even have them join us."

Look! He wasn't even saying anything about her being just a child! Though he was thinking it.
"These are dangerous men who are fighting us simply because of who we are."

He'd already clonked a few of the crazy villains who were roaming the streets over the heads tonight, and was actually kind of feeling like he was making some kind of difference. Which was a nice change, compared to spinning his wheels, wondering if he was really was just the monster everyone accused him of being.
The eye-beams that he was firing at the next psycho to run at him were probably visible before he was. But at least he seemed to be holding his own fairly well tonight?

"Mr Sabahnur." Drac's tone of disapproval carried well in the night... if a bit spookily. "Are you perhaps engaging these people? A scholar such as yourself?"

The look of absolute chagrin on Evan's face as the last psycho collapsed and he turned to face Dracula said volumes about the fact that he wasn't generally scolded often, at least.
"Professor Dracula! I- I was just..." He looked around at the handful of fallen villains and winced. "... Yeah. I was. They were hurting people, and I thought..."
He shrugged his shoulders a little. Finishing sentences tonight was a tricky proposition, apparently.

He'd spent hours on Thursday night, trying to coax Sholeh back to some semblance of living, promising her that he'd do everything that he could to make it safe again so she could stop being afraid.

"There are times in our lives, Mr Sabahnur, when what was once safe becomes safe no more. Does that mean you should risk your life and possibly increase the risk for others? What did this accomplish that aided Ms Sholeh in her injuries?"
no subject
Which was kind of understandable when you were slowly killed all up out of nowhere.
"I wanted to give her some peace of mind. I thought... maybe if I could get some of these guys off the streets..."
Vigilante justice was still justice, right? It seemed to work for the X-Men.
... Ish.
Not very well.

It was a brilliant plan, truly.
"How do you like this, douchnozzle?" she yelled while her current mount flailed about wildly with a crowbar. "Go the fuck home!"

"Let me go, Mommy!" he was bellowing. "I won't eat Sissy's pet bunnies no more, I promise!"
Zeela didn't seem inclined to let go. She was contrary that way.

...She had you there, Drac.

Didn't agree with it, no. Certainly weren't fond of it. But they understood.

"Why are you not safe at home, recuperating?"
