Conversational Lithuanian, Tuesday evening
Hannibal nodded at everybody as they sat. He had a handout for them today with quite a bit of vocabulary on it.
“This weekend reminded me that there are any number of eventualities we might need to prepare for on this island,” he said dryly, and shook his head. This weekend had been…interesting. “Combined with the previous one,” he nodded to Jono and Eleanor, “I thought some vocabulary less traditional for conversation classes might be useful.”
The paper read:
“To review conjugations,” he wrote on the board the conjugation for šaudyti.
“So, shall we discuss this weekend? Or any other? Or perhaps a hypothetical situation?”

Re: Converse!
... Possibly because if he looked good and absorbed in the words on paper, he didn't have to talk about his horrible demise at Kaidan's hand at the sushi orgy.

Re: Converse!
At least he wasn't still dead? That had been a bit of a down-note on the whole weekend.

Re: Converse!
Actually, he did have a decent chunk of change to his name. Severance pay after his run with the New Warriors. But he really didn't think about it. It was just kind of there. Enough for him to live more than comfortably, these days, since he owned his own business and didn't eat.

Re: Converse!
Jonothon kind of had this thing where he wanted to save all of the small children, but they tended to scream and call him a monster whenever he tried.
It wasn't too great for his self-esteem.

Re: Converse!
He eyed Jono curiously. "If you speak telepathically, does it matter which language you use?"
Re: Converse!
He took a moment to focus, and then sent something that was a little less 'word' and a little more like a twist of feeling, a sort of notion that he was explaining, just like this. And this would serve just fine, if not for--
//-Comprehension. I can't understand spoken word in languages I don't know unless I'm being invasive.//
