Tino kept giving Kenzi weird looks out of the corner of his eye. That was okay. Kenzi was side-eyeing him right back.

"So, how long have you been a dude?"

Well, at least they were all still dead.

Someone rearranged the liquor again. Kenzi was not amused. Neither was Tino.

Where various hallucinations were lounging. Kenzi was studiously not looking over there.

Okay, this was not funny. Kenzi couldn't find Drowsy Valley anywhere on the TV, damnit.

Here! And now I want Jell-O.

Cecil was still grown up. He also had a third eye. He was also still very much Cecil.

"Hi, Kenzi!" He hopped up on a stool. "Have you got the glowy jell-o?"

"I can... check." A pause. "Did you have the third eye last time we talked?"

"I've always had all three," Cecil answered with a shrug. "Why; was my hair hiding it or something? Oh, your hair looks neat, by the way."

"Thanks..." Third comment this week about that; yep, she was maybe the one who didn't belong here. "Okay, so, looking for glowing Jell-O shots on my phone here... and hunh." She blinked. "Make 'em with tonic water and they glow under black lights (http://momadvice.com/post/how-to-make-glow-in-the-dark-jell-o), what do you know?"

One set of glowing shots, coming up!

"I totally remember things you do. Let's get those shots," James said after speeding onto a stool.

"Do you remember my hair being blonde?" Kenzi asked, suspicious, but already reaching for glowing neon-green vodka tonic shot.

"Did you ever get to talk to Jono?" Cecil asked while she worked on them. "I thought I'd see him in class on Friday, but he just sent me a note to teach it instead."

"It's been like that for so long," James offered. "I can't even remember it being a different color!"

Whether he was exaggerating or serious was up to debate. Mostly because he was lying, but he wasn't going to admit to that.

Kenzi rolled her eyes, and handed over the livid green shot. "Riiight. You're still the same, glad to see that."

"I did, Thursday." Kenzi rubbed her head, wincing at the sudden headache. "He was-- pretty messed up. One minute he remember what happened Sunday, the next he didn't."

"You can't change a classic," James said, raising the shot in a toast and then downing it. "Well, you can, but it'll suck if you do. So you're one of those people with stuff nobody remembers?"

"Yes," Kenzi said in disgust. "Different hair. I'm a dancer. Apparently the me that was here wants to be an international jewel thief, which, seriously?"

"Yeah, I don't get that. There are great jewels to steal in this country, why branch out?" James agreed.

"Not where I was going with that," Kenzi said, and took one of the glowing blue Jell-O shots for herself. "But whatever. Me, other people, weirdness, I'm hating it."

"Yeah, the other Kenzi would've been taking notes. Oh well, more jewels for me," James said. "Can I get a gin and tonic? Keeping it simple tonight."

"Sure. Really? You guys talk shop a lot?" Kenzi was amused, and pulled out a glass for his gin and tonic. "My stuff's all the same at our- her- MY apartment. Except the cat. That kinda freaked me out."

Okay, Sparks wasn't huge on drinking, but someone had promised virgin Jell-O shots for a particular little girl, and it wasn't like he was going to turn those down. Especially not after all the eating out of the school cafeteria they'd done. So, Sparks was here with Amelia in tow, still fairly early in the evening, since there was a bedtime they weren't going to miss and he wanted to get her back to the dorms before it got too dark out there.

Because monsters? Little kids, right?

"So, what kind of Jell-O are we going for tonight?"

Cecil frowned. "Well, I suppose...sometimes people forget traumatizing things, right? Especially head injuries. I'm sure he'll be fine."

"I don't know," Amelia said, sticking close to Sparks and glancing around the bar curiously. Which, well... she came to a stop.

"Are those people dead?"

"No, seriously, one minute he was all 'yeah, that happened Sunday' and then he was saying it happened years ago," Kenzi told him. "And, okay, what's my future dream job?"
