Caritas, Friday Evening
There was a rat with an eyepatch on one of the shelves behind the bar tonight. Specifically, where they kept the bottles of rum. And yeah, that was kind of gross and potentially unhygienic, and Mike had tried to get the little guy removed.
The problem was that it had gotten into the stash of those tiny plastic swords you sometimes saw in cocktails with cherries and stuff on them. And Mike had already gotten stabbed twice, while Tino had refused to deal with the situation at all.
So, apparently the rat was staying.
"I can't believe I'm finding this reassuringly normal compared to most of the shit that's been going on lately," Mike noted, mostly to himself. Tino had no comment to offer.
