Freedom Arms- Wednesday

It was Aeryn's first day of work- at a paying job ever, actually- and while she wouldn't say she was nervous, she did want to get things right. Especially considering she only had a very basic understanding of this planet so far.

That 'basic understanding of the planet' thing was already getting very old, by the way.

Today was going to be spent familiarizing herself with the shop and its weapons. Mostly the weapons. They may be primitive, but she could still understand those.

[Open like a job post!]

Mike strolled in with his hands in his pockets and gave the woman a polite smile. "Good afternoon, miss. I would like to purchase a weapon. In fact, I would like to purchase several."

She looked green, which was good. Mike needed to get out the door without official paperwork.

Mike pulled a list from his pocket and peered at it -- he'd written too small, and it was a little hard to read without his reading glasses. He gave Aeryn an apologetic shrug. "Shall we start with the assault rifles?"

"Protection," Mike told her. "Radio says there are rifts opening up. Now, the last time that happened, my store was attacked by a bunch of crazy people. I'd like to be better-prepared if it happens again." He gave Aeryn a shrug. "I'd suggest you do the same."

"Normally, I'd say no," Mike told her. "I'm not a fan of using anything heavier than I have to. "However, I am also not a fan of being without a backup plan."
