The Park | Sunday Morning
It got boring staying inside your room for too long. Sure, Jim was a pro at entertaining himself but he also got bored easily and got curious even easier. There was crap going on around the island and he'd been hearing a rhyming voice for awhile now and staying inside his room just wasn't an attractive option even if it was cold out there.
That was okay, he could deal with cold. It just meant bundling up in various layers before heading out. He wasn't usually up this early and was kind of surprised how quiet it seemed right now. He could almost believe this was another sleepy town in the middle of bumfuck Iowa where nothing happened. He knew the truth but while he took a walk through the park, he could almost believe this place was normal and boring.
It was probably a good thing it wasn't. He'd probably get bored of that after awhile and take off. Boring and normal were just not good matches for Jim Kirk.
[Open place and post. Possible SP later in the afternoon when I head to dinner with my mom! ETA: And SP is about to commence! I will return all tags ASAP!]

Yeah, Suzy was handling being in the wrong Fandom just fine. At least now that she'd managed to get some weather-appropriate clothes the wear over her usual Roman garb.
She was also in kind of imminent danger of falling into the cold pond with the way she was leaning forward and trying to call the birds to her.

For a second, he warred with himself, not sure if he wanted to say something to someone he didn't know but then...
Damn him for being a good guy. "Unless you're wanting to take a swim, you might wanna slide back."

Yeah, she fell on her ass... basically as soon as she'd said that. But she just laughed. And, hey, it was better than it would have been to fall forward, because that would have landed her in the pond. "Oopsie."

"Yeah, great balance," he noted with a raised eyebrow. "I'm impressed."

The amount of babbling she could generate also set her apart from Natalie pretty firmly.

It also paid really poorly, but she hadn't really paid attention to that yet. Being high school aged and all.

"What are you doing here?" he wondered, going with that first. "You're not usually on this island, are you?"

She slowed when she came across him, asking, "What brings you out?"

She meant "preparing to kill all the things." And she was so looking forward to killing all the things.

Oh, look. It was his favourite Mord'Sith.

He missed her so much!

"I wouldn't know, but if there is, I'm sure you could accompany me there." Because that's what happened when you gave her ideas, Jim.

Her definition of well-behaved at least.

"Pleasure is merely the inverse of pain," she said softly. "As much as the agiel can give you of the one..." And she'd given him but the merest taste. "...I gave also give you of the other."
Not to mention that she wouldn't seduce him intending to beat him up and steal his wallet instead, either.

"I don't know if you're really my type," he replied, shaking his head. "You're a little...dull. You just keep telling me the same thing over and over again. You just use different words."
