George's Gin Joint (Formerly an abandoned warehouse named George)

A high time was always to be had at George's Gin Joint. Barry "The Brain" Ween always made sure of that. The liquor was always pouring and the casino was always dealing and spinning depending on your choice of games.

And more importantly, the place was always open. You have to love a place like that!

So come on in for a good time and a complimentary drink. Surely you can't pass that up?

"Thank you, Doll," Joker snorted. "Thought I'd left 'em in my other pants." He sighed, and gestured at her with his drink, spilling some. "You wanna call these useless sacks of meat 'n bone 'legs', you go right on ahead. Face as sweet as yours, you do anything you want. But I'll never run again. I'll never walk again, not without crutches. Docs say I should be glad they didn't amputate. I say, they're all hacks! HACKS!"

"No flirting, I'm taken," Ricki said, automatically. She had a good thing going, and she wasn't going to mess that up. "Sorry your legs don't work, though."

It was possible she was a little tipsy herself.

"You're a little young to've been in the war, yeah?"

"You fake a few papers, you grease a few palms, and they don't look at you too close after that," Joker told her. "I wanted to be a pilot. I was a damn good one. 'Til I got shot down."
