There were all sorts of problems at Caritas today. Kitty had barely gotten in the door when she'd been drenched with ice water, which she thought was completely unfair since that happened to her yesterday. Then about five minutes later Tino got it, and Kitty had been standing just close enough to get it, too.

At that point she abandoned all plans to go home and change, which was good because while she was mopping up the floor she got doused again.

So, you know, if you want to see soaking wet bartenders, you're in the right place.

Thanks to the supermarket shark movie I could have another 20 icons of wet Kitty. BECAUSE HER CHARACTER WOULD NOT STOP JUMPING INTO SHARK-INFESTED WATERS.

Clint had planned on just coming in for a drink, but when he saw Kitty, he had to stop and stare. "Um. Are you okay?" Pardon the staring at the soaking wet girlfriend.

"Fandom thinks it's funny," Kitty said, putting out the 'CAUTION WET FLOOR' sign. "But guess what, it's not funny."

"Did it like, rain in here or something?" Clint asked, doing his best to not do anything close to laughing.

"Fandom is raining ice water on people. I've gotten it three times, Clint. Three times!"

And it would keep happening all week, oops.

"Aww. Do you need a hug?"

He was asking since he wasn't sure if he wanted to get wet, but he'd be willing to put up with it if she needed him to. Plus, wet girlfriend!

"I need it to stop so I can change clothes," Kitty pouted wringing out her shirt for effect.

"Maybe if you stay in the wet clothes, you won't get hit again?" Clint suggested oh-so-helpfully.

"I'm staying in them because I've gotten it twice since I've been at work," she sighed, phasing through the bar to get him a beer. "Are you at least having fun ogling?"

"Am I supposed to say no? Is that one of those questions where lying is the best option?" Clint asked. While still ogling, because hello.

"I know you're doing it," she pointed out. Just like she'd be doing if it was him. "One of us might as well get something out of this. Besides hypothermia."

"Is it really cold?" Clint asked, putting his hand on Kitty's arm to try to see how chilly she was. "That seems a lot less fun, I'm sorry."

"It's ice water. Literal ice. It can't be that much fun to see me soaked," she said.

Just in time for about a cupful of water to pour down on her head. Like, Big Gulp size. Juuuuust for comedic effect. At least she didn't yelp too loud this time!

Clint shrank back as some of the water hit him too. "Whoa, okay that is not cool. Uh, no pun intended," he said. "You'd think once would be enough."

Kitty pushed her hair out of her face and said, "you're warming me up later. That's just the way it has to be."

That got Clint to perk right up. "A nice, warm shower would probably help, right?"

"Uh huh. And blankets." In September. "This is like the only acceptable course of action."

"I'm on board with all of this," Clint said, getting closer and loosely putting his arms around her. "I'm sorry the island is being mean."

"This is what happens when I start splitting time on it," Kitty said, shaking her head. "And you are going to get wet here."

"Eh, I'll get slightly damp, it's all right," Clint said. "It'll start the warming process, that's just what I'm thinking about." Even if Kitty was pretty adorable while chilly.

"And not about getting close to your wet girlfriend while her clothes are all clingy?" she teased.
