Fandom Town, Saturday Morning (Finale Post Part 1!)
It would be nice if the team of volunteers who'd taken off for Ingvar were heading unopposed, but nice didn't describe most of the spectres who'd infested the island this week. It definitely didn't apply to the ones who'd been hiding in the Town Hall, spying on their plans. Samara, for instance, had no intention of letting them shut down her source of freedom and toss her back into her cold, dark pit, and she'd broadcast that fact to any ghost on the island who'd listen. They might all be out for themselves, but an army of angry spirits each fighting to protect their own interests -- whether to preserve their well of dark power or to escape in the stolen bodies of the living -- was still an army of angry spirits.
[OOC: The first post, for all your ghost-fighting, possessed-people-herding, sheltering on Holy Ground needs. A post for the Strike Team's adventure, the Kitchen Sink spell, and aftermath will be coming along later!]

Causeway and Docks
As for the living? If they wanted to prevent their friends from leaving, or their other friends from drowning, well. They'd better move fast.
Re: Causeway and Docks
yet. Leaving in the middle of a crisis would be irresponsible! He was, however, on the look out for other spirits and possessed folks trying to make a break for it, so he could herd them towards the church like the responsible and heroic federal agent he was.As for him? Well, he was just a pony. Surely the townspeople could agree that a federal agent was a greater resource than a talking pony. He was sure he'd be just fine to stick around, especially after he'd proved so helpful and heroic.

And today, she was armed. Why strike out with just nails and fists when you could have long, sharp knives in both hands? It had taken a moment to find ones that didn't burn her hands (a fact that had given Isabelle inside her head some faint, brief joy), but she'd managed.
She couldn't get inside people's heads from within this body, but that didn't mean she couldn't inflict death upon them, anyway.
Re: Causeway and Docks
He did have the knife she'd given him and he put himself right in front of her, welts scattered across his face and expression grim.
"That dress has really gotta go," he told her.

Lacking a staff of his own to focus with, and Hannibal being rather low on anything of the right shape, he was now carrying a solid oak curtain rod with a wrought iron finial that made a more than passable one, really.
Re: Causeway and Docks
He snorted when he spotted Bob and his curtain rod. "What, you looking to do some interior decorating?"

That didn't mean she was helpless. It just meant the physical had to come from something not her. Like, for instance, the animals her presence had terrified even in life. In death?
Anybody trying to interfere with the possessed heading for the Causeway might want to watch out for that stampeding herd of teal deer.
[OOC: They're an endangered species. You probably want to try not to kill them, but hey. Those antlers are sharp, and self-defense is self-defense. Deer-mod at will.]
Re: Causeway and Docks
Of course he hadn't counted on running into a freaking necromancer ghost who was actually on the same side as the living, here.
It had taken him some time to get out of his iron restraints in the cannibal's cellar, but now he was free again, and the little island was cranking up his power something fierce, and he was pissed. Really, really pissed. And ready to bring a plague of anything from locusts to snakes to black-and-white striped ventriloquist dummies down upon anybody that so much as looked his way.
No, nobody had said the three words again, since the fireball had managed to say them. But with the way this place was turning everything up to eleven, nobody really had to.
"Who wants a piece of this first, huh? Any takers? Come and get a piece of me!"

Re: Our Lady of Fandom Grounds and Graveyard
He had enough of the Sight to tell that something was off with the girl skulking about the church grounds. "Hey," he called, his guitar pressed close to his chest like a shield. "It's a bit cold out to just be hanging around. Why don't you go inside and warm up?"

Our Lady of Fandom Chapel
Re: Our Lady of Fandom Chapel
Where apparently all hell was going down. But hey, what else was new? Force senses at least made it easier to avoid the worst of it, because he'd feel vaguely guilty if he got the kid's body damaged.
"Keep moving," he told the ghost, as they approached the church. Gave it a shove as motivation.

Hannibob will be wanting to help out; if any other ghost wants to fight him...?
Heck, if any not-ghost wants to try fighting him not knowing he's switched sides, that would work, too!
