This morning Kitty had woken up all gross because someone's pillow had decided to turn into cotton candy overnight. After taking a long shower because apparently it was harder to get spun sugar out of hair than you might think, she'd escaped to the Perk with her laptop because she was convinced her whole apartment smelled like sugar now. Besides, maybe coffee and a muffin might help her mood.

She had her laptop out and was alternating between emailing and researching ideas for a class next semester. One was going better than the other.
