Dite's Decadent Delights [Wednesday afternoon]
Irene had survived her birthday with a glass of wine in hand and her phone firmly shut off in another room, and really, she felt like all of that was quite to be commended.
Which was why she had a cupcake at work with her today, which she was slowly eating over the course of several hours, because it was just one cupcake, after all. Plus, she was eyeing the shop and considering what she might do for St. Patrick's Day -- green dildos didn't seem like an exceptional product to promote, honestly. (She wouldn't feel any stranger about using one than any other color, of course, but it also didn't seem like something someone would come out and buy specifically for the holiday, either.)
So instead, she refreshed the lingerie display with some green outfits, along with several pairs of boxers and panties that declared KISS ME, I'M IRISH.
...and she wasn't, but she might have to invest in a pair, anyway. Because really. What a lovely location for that invitation.
[open shop, no OCD, slow while I'm at work/headachey!]

"Hello," she said instead, offering the second cup.

and not because I mixed up my days nopebut I'm kind of okay with that so far," she said. "How about you? How was your week?"no subject

Traumatized beyond belief, she was sure, but -- "Physically, I mean."

Seriously, poor Clint. She should give him all the presents.

No, seriously, poor Clint. You were taking something home with you today, Kitty.
"I was almost beheaded -- almost -- and I still don't talk about it as casually as you just brought up being impaled," Irene pointed out, eyes wide. "Shit. I'm surprised Clint's not, you know. Right there." She pointed to about an inch to the left of Kitty's arm.

Because really, Fandom was a dream by comparison. Irene would happily take all the rain of fish forever if she never had one of her students die in front of her.

Because coercing a kid into jumping off a fake cliff was not something Kitty had ever imagined happening.

And then she just wordlessly set her coffee cup aside and held her arms out. "C'mere."
She wasn't really a hugger, but sometimes one had to make exceptions.

Mostly.

Which was why poor Clint was getting a goodie bag, yes.
"And besides, it can't be easy dealing with the fallout from that, as a person somewhat in charge."
