The Devil's Nest, Friday Evening

Help! Allie had been poking around the internet on her phone and accidentally followed a link to TV Tropes. For the time being she was amusing herself trying to figure out which tropes applied to which of her friends.

The bar was open.

It certainly was easy. Because Kitty hadn't specified which beer, Allie picked a Canadian one in Kaidan's honor. "Everyone okay though?" she asked, pushing the beer across the bar.

Kitty took the drink with one hand, making the so-so gesture with the other. "Most mutants had their powers removed by a mentally ill mutant with reality warping powers and daddy issues," she said. "'Okay' is sort of relative.' I'm fine."

"Physically fine, getting there mentally," Kitty admitted. She was usually not a repress-y person. "Clint and I took off for a while. It seems to have helped."

That was probably as good as anyone could expect to be. "That's good. Probably best to get away. It's been pretty quiet but of course the weekend you'd want quiet would be the weekend the island got weird again."
