The Boardwalk | Tuesday Afternoon
Octavia was gone.
Bellamy had gotten in very late last night after another futile search for Clarke. It was like she'd disappeared without a trace. The group hadn't yet ventured into Grounder territory but after the latest developments, that was going to be Bellamy's first stop. They'd taken Clarke and now they had his sister.
With fury in his eyes and tension in the lines of his body, he'd gathered a small group (including Finn), grabbed a gun and led them out of camp and into the forest. They needed a tracker and even though Bellamy didn't like the guy, Finn was the best they had. He wasn't going to be going out of his way to help the guy. Bellamy's mind was strictly on Octavia.
His sister, his responsibility.
Even Raven blaming him for the lives lost on the Ark wasn't going to touch him. Not now. She could whine and cry to someone else about how terrible a person he was. Maybe Finn could hold her tenderly and let her cry on his shoulder.
Bellamy had other things to do.
They were stepping silently, boots imprinting in the soft dirt as they went. Bellamy kept his eyes on Finn's back, gun held at the ready. The closer they got to Grounder territory, the angrier Bellamy got. He'd kill them all. Every single one of them.
Finn held a hand to stop the group, listening for something faint in the distance. Bellamy stepped forward, gun up and took the lead. There was something hissing behind a large tree. Without thinking about the fact that it could be a trap, Bellamy lunged around the tree and fell right into a portal.
He heard Finn shout and then -- nothing.
Bellamy whipped around, expecting to see Finn behind him, ready with a lecture on being more careful but there was nothing. He was alone. Alone and in a completely different place. There weren't any trees surrounding him, no dirt beneath his boots. He still had his gun and he raised it defensively, not sure what the hell kind of trick this was.
Bellamy knew there were parts of Earth they hadn't yet explored but this was impossible. There were buildings in the distance, well kept and bright. They looked lived in. It was hotter here than it had been just a minute ago and Bellamy felt perspiration slide into his eyes.
A noise caught his attention and Bellamy turned, eyes settling on the ocean nearby. He'd heard about these on the Ark, even seen the massive blue masses from space but to be this close to one? Impossible. There was no way.
Where the hell was he?
[ Open, of course. Bellamy's on the boardwalk, confused as hell and holding a gun. Please note: he most likely won't give the gun up but he does know how to handle it and might take you as a threat at first. He's not going to shoot anyone. ]

attractive Australiansgrumpy and prone to violence people on the Boardwalk, though any confusion on Cara's part was on why she was wandering down here, when she could be relaxing in the Onsen."You supposed to have that thing out here?" If he wasn't maybe she could watch the troopers stun him, or hit him herself. That's be almost as good as an Onsen visit.

"You gonna try taking it away from me?" he shot back, finger hovering over the trigger.

For the moment.

Don't make her hit you Bellamy, it'd be a shame to bruise that pretty face on your first day.

"Answer them," he said roughly. "Where the hell am I?"
no subject
'Because I've got a gun pointed at you' was not a correct answer.

"Are you actually under the impression I'm the least bit afraid of you?" she asked, because fury was something she knew how to work with. She took a single, careful step forward, not directly towards Bellamy, but at an angle, so he'd have to move if he wanted to keep the gun on her.

He could feel sweat sliding down into the collar of his shirt. He tightened his hands on the butt of the gun. "I don't want any trouble. I just need to know where I am."

Both were viable, valid options. Bellamy didn't know which one he actually preferred to be true.

Instead of stopping, she sped up. Not suddenly, not much, just enough to be noticeable.

Neither of which applied to Wash, thanks. Neither.
And if there was one day he was annoyed that he hadn't worn his armor, it was today. But that didn't stop him from taking his time to flank the kid. "I'm going to need you to drop that."

He needed answers right now. He needed to get out of here.

Wash adjusted his stance, staying still to wait for the right moment to take the damn rifle.

He frowned, eyebrow knitting together. "2000 what?" He couldn't have heard that right.

This wasn't Halo where everyone always had a gun in their hands, Bellamy. God.

"Yes. I'm the stupid one here. You've figured it out," he replied before abruptly moving forward to grab hold of the barrel of the gun and turn on heel to elbow at the kid's throat.
Sorry kid he just met. He was actually a nice person. Sort of. If you compared him to others.

One moment he had his gun, the next, he felt like he was choking. Coughing harshly, Bellamy grabbed at his throat before glaring up at Washington.
"Give me my gun back," he said hoarsely. He curled his fingers into a fist. "Now."
no subject
"Now. How about we try sharing instead of threatening."
no subject
"Where's my sister?" he asked angrily. "You have her, you let her go. You can have me instead."
Of course, Bellamy planned to kill him before he could be taken into custody.
no subject
"First of all, I don't know who you or your sister are. Where do you think you are?"

Hadn't the nuclear war destroyed almost everything man made?
