Goodvalor's Little Bivoli, Sunday morning
Zayne decided to take some time to check in on one of his remaining investments in Fandom, and maybe get some breakfast. What he didn't expect to find was an all out war. Gremlin Zombies versus Kitchen Droids. The gremlins couldn't bite through the droids metal chassis, and the droids were poorly equipped for battle.
Despite the chaos in the background, Gigi was still able to seat Zayne at a relatively peaceful table and he was able to order a good breakfast that, hopefully, wouldn't have any gremlin blood in it.
... On second thought, Zayne was going to go help clear out the kitchen first. He could separate the combatants peacefully.
[OOC: Open for breakfast as soon as the fighting ends!]

"Oh, great, looks like they made it here, too," he said, as he stepped into the restaurant.

"I'm pretty good, as long as nobody breaks out the Jedi talk," he said. "What've you been up to?"

"Uh," he said. "Yes."
He was normally better at lying than this, but sometimes you just kind of had to call it a day.

Where he lived in one of the Jedi Masters' apartments.
Because almost all the other Jedi were dead.
Because the thing with the chance and the change and the no, Zayne. Damn it. He'd come here to unwreck his brain!

"It seems to be working out for you. I'm glad to see that," Zayne said.

Of course, his feelings about that event were particularly muddled.
"I feel better," he admitted. "I mean, don't get me wrong, I still have a lot of poodoo that needs to be sorted out. But somehow this--" he waved vaguely at his head, "--makes me feel like that's doable. A percentage of the time."
Which was a huge step up from the kid Zayne used to know.

If giving Atton aneurysms.

He felt like a complete coward for not pushing the point, but Zayne had a shield of optimism that was stronger than iron. Which didn't stop Atton from smashing it per sé, but he was pretty sure doing so was more trouble than it was worth.
Even if everything the guy was saying sounded very familiar.

He shot Zayne another thoughtful look. "So, any idea where you'll go from here, by any chance?"
Damn it, he was going to have to ask Mical to look into Zayne when he got back home.
