The streets of Fandom, Wednesday evening
So a snow white ferret playing in actual snow drifts was basically a perfect recipe for disaster. But Eliot had to take Val out for her evening walk, and Parker had managed to worm her way out the door with them, so Eliot didn't have much choice in the matter.
At least she wasn't disappearing completely into the snow. He didn't know where she'd found the tiny, ferret-sized ugly Christmas sweater, but since the red and green stripes and the antlered hood made her stand out more against the white backdrop that was Fandom at Christmas time, Eliot wasn't going to complain.
[bleah, is a day. Open post, for anyone still in town!]

Parker flung herself off the top of the next staircase along, looking for a moment like she was trying to be a flying squirrel before she *fwoomp*ed into the snow at the bottom. Val barked, tail wagging like crazy, and chased after her.

Possibly more than all of them put together.

Parker leaped up on Val's back and was riding around in circles. Eliot pulled out his phone to snap a picture of it.
"'Course, this gives me more time to finally get her Christmas present."

As for Eliot...maybe the entirety of the Williams-Sonoma catalogue? Cause hell if Hardison knew any of what he had. Except for knives, obviously. You could always trust Eliot to have perfect knives.

Eliot kind of viciously hated all of Williams-Sonoma and what they stood for. And already owned most of their products, because he also couldn't resist them at all.
thanks gyzm for that headcanon. . . ."I was thinkin' maybe some sort of totally harmless 'magic for beginners' book or somethin'. Assuming that even exists."

Totally where I stole that setup from, too!"Like...magic tricks, right?" Somewhere, GOB was screaming about illusions. "Not, like, real magic or whatever?"
He assumed magic tricks, but on this island...?
"Ain't sayin' she wouldn't love bein' invisible or whatever, but I am sayin' it would be terrible for my nerves."
