Demon Marcus, Thursday
Given how easily distracted Ada had been so far this week, it was a miracle she even made it in to work. A spacey, twitchy, restless miracle, but still a miracle.
But she had to burn off all this somehow, and so Ada had filled up the Burn Barrel and was going to focus on feeding the flames instead of daydreaming. Normally daydreaming helped pass the time just fine, but, well, this week it was just making thing worse.
Demon Marcus was open, and your shop girl hasn't quite realized it's not just her, yet.
[OOC: Open, OCD-free, SP in effect!]

You know who was having a fantastic week? Isabela was, and according to the radio she wasn't the only one.

She smirked at Isabela. "Though it seems like they been followin' you around plenty too."
Since Isabela wasn't the only one who heard what radio had to say.

Especially things like 'yes' and 'please.'

"Exactly so," she agreed, digging around in her hip scarf. "Which is why I have something to thank you for the flowers." Yes, like Dante, you were getting tiny brass genitalia. Didn't you feel lucky?

She held out the not-actually-a-flower token.

She held it up to get a better look at it. "Where on earth did you find these? Or do I not want to know?"

Isabela shrugged. "On my ship, no idea how they got there," she said. "They're Rivaini though."
no subject
"I'm almost tempted to turn it into a necklace, and see who figures out what it really is."
no subject
"I think that sounds like a marvellous idea." It should be noted that Isabela would one day wear decidedly phallic-looking necklaces and was not someone whose idea of appropriateness could be trusted.

She thought she was hilarious.

Ada grinned and held up her prize. "So if you gave these, does that mean Dante and I are your seconds-in-command?"
Ada no, don't give her more friend fiction ideas.

"I'd be more than happy to have you both under me." Far, far too late. "But you'd have to sort out who had seniority between yourselves."
What have you done, Ada?

But it was going to take Ada a second to answer, as that put a very, very pretty picture in her head, and it took a moment to blink it away and get back to herself.
"Well, I'm older," she said distractedly. "I guess that puts me on t--" ADA NO. Thankfully she had enough self-preservation not to finish that sentence in that way. "-- in charge."

"He does take direction very well," she said, so very innocently.

"It all depends on the kind of orders." Beat. "And how you phrase it."
no subject
"What, like, 'oh, pretty please kiss me?'" she asked, fluttering her lashes outrageously.
