Not far from the dorms- Saturday afternoon
Rey had just had a feeling that something was happening, so she'd gone out armed with her staff. It had started with one of the Brood sleazoids coming after her, only for her to kick, punch, and beat him until he let her go. Then he'd tried again, and she'd done the same, including trying to see if these things had genitals she could kick. (They did not. FYI.) The third time it had tried to tangle with her, she punched it in the eye.
That got it to throw her, probably figuring that she wasn't worth that sort of abuse. She flew, skidding on the ground and hissing because her arm took most of it. And then she bounced back to her feet and charged at the retreating Brood.
This might go on for a while.
