Wonka's Sweets Shoppe, Wednesday

It was Ezra's second-to-last shift at Wonka's today. Probably. Assuming he made it in next week. It wasn't as if his schedule was set in stone, or any other particularly hard material, for that matter.

He went with the flow.

And today's flow was supposed to involve cake, later. But for now, it was mostly assembling a very fetching display of all manner of apple-flavored sweets in the store's window.

He was trying to sneak foxes into the theme. And failing.

[ooc: Open! May be slow.]

Look, Awesome class had left Ada wanting something awesome, and to her mind, nothing was more awesome (at least at this moment) than something sweet. And she'd been slightly homesick so... she was wandering in to Wonka's on a mission. A cotton candy -- or rock candy, she wasn't too picky -- mission.

"Hello?"

And wasn't that a nice greeting?

"'M lookin' for some sugar," Ada said, keeping a straight face somehow. "Cotton candy, if'n you got it, or whatever else falls under 'sugar with sugar on top.'"

"Who puts perfectly good cotton candy in a jar?" Ada asked, utterly baffled by the idea. Why did Townies make things so complicated?

"But if'n you got recommendations, I got a sweet tooth."

"I like flavors best, over type of candy. Tart or sour 's always nice," she said thoughtfully. "Or that funny blue flavor that people thinks tastes like raspberries but ain't, or anything apple."

Ada followed Ezra, looking around at all the candy with unfeigned delight. She was going to be using up more of her spending money than planned, but it was going to be so worth it.

"I love those lollipops," she said, looking over his shoulder at the window display. "Oh! Do you got caramel apples? I know it ain't fall yet but..."

The mermaid had a weakness, and it was caramel apples.
