It wasn't that Sparkle was in denial about what weekend it was or anything, really. Honest. Hell, it wasn't even that he was doing much better today than he had been in weeks. It was just that it was October now. Which meant that he had carte blanche to start pulling out the Halloween decorations. He was getting into the groove of it, here. Fake cobwebs, little glow-in-the-dark spiders to go in them... He hadn't gone so far as to replace all the mannequins with skeletons yet, but that was definitely on the docket.

Just as soon as he got some skeletons, mostly.

"There'll be trick-or-treat going, egg cartons for throwing, and hearts full of fear! It's the most wonderful tiiime of the yeeear!"

Just wait until he set up the big bowl of candy.

[OOC: IT'S HALLOWEEN. I mean, in a few weeks, but IT'S HALLOWEEN. Open, OCD-free!]

"No," she agreed readily. "It was not. But we rebuilt the Temple to make it a safe space once again, as it was before the Jedi Purge. We failed in our aims. If we do not recognize such failure and make amends where necessary, we will be no better than the Jedi who came before us."

That actually seemed reasonable. Sensible. Sometimes Jedi seemed to have that part figured out, apparently. Sparkle nodded a little bit, biting back a sigh.

"Well, then it sounds like you guys have your work cut out for you," he noted. "Where do you even start with something like that?"

"Improving the security of the Temple. Helping the systems affected by the cartel in cleaning up remaining cells," Brianna said. "And I came here to see you. If there is any medical help you might need, please let us know?"

Okay, so help him, Sparkle needed to fidget, here.

"I appreciate the offer, but medically, I'm fine. Honest," he replied, nodding at his shoulder. "That's the worst of it, there. Everything else is in my head, and that... I'm dealing with that."

"You should try to meditate," Brianna said, being terribly Jedi about it, and then, being terribly Echani about it, added: "Or spar. This always sets my mind at ease."

Something about that answer didn't actually surprise Sparkle all that much, but it did get a little smile out of him.

"I haven't sparred in a while," he admitted. "Or meditated. I probably should get back into... those things."

Maybe not so much with the sparring here inside the shop, but, still.
