Alluka was pleased with herself as she made it into work—she'd managed to get to work faster than she'd ever done before!—and it was a tiny thing, really, but it made her happy.
And that was the important thing.
Her bunny agreed with her as they waved good morning to the little blue people who shared the store with her papa. The stereo got a hug, which led to it burbling cheerful pop music at her, which only made her grin.
It was one of those days where everything felt wonderful and good. The best kind of day.
