The stereo was playing . . . something. Raven wasn't super sure what that something was, but there were rather a lot of stray cats hanging around the store today. They all swarmed the door when Raven tried to go out on a lunch break, and she bared a set of fangs and hissed at them until they backed down.
And then followed her to lunch. And followed her back to the store.
Raven wondered if she'd somehow managed to accidentally establish herself as the alpha cat, or if they were just fucking with her. With cats, it was impossible to tell.
