Furnado Animal Shelter, Tuesday
Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 07:19 amZack was hard at work at Furnado today.
He was hauling in supplies to make a big enclosure up on the roof. A huge one. One that was closed in, of course. It was possible that he was hauling in soil and sod, and then lumber, and more chicken wire than any one person generally ever needed, and...
The little chickens were getting to be big chickens, and sure, they could all have fit into a big cardboard box when they came in, but now they were big enough that, if Zack didn't do something about this quickly, he was going to have to start rearranging dogs to fit them all without overcrowding. He suspected that they didn't have this many chickens in the past, that people generally kept it to bunnies around Easter and those were rehomed fairly quickly, but apparently 'giant bunny trauma' had unexpected results by way of irresponsible parents giving kids pets that nobody in the family intended to care for in the long run.
Woo.
So, that was going to be Zack's day. Building a huge enclosure on the roof, complete with a chicken coop and... a lawn. Because he didn't want chickens scrabbling around on something uncomfortable, don't judge him.
Furnado was open. Did anybody want a chicken?
[OOC: Pff, OCD-freee.]
