The Perk, Sunday morning
Galen hadn't gone far yesterday, too busy exploring and learning about the home he'd woken up in. But today there were still no signs of Imperial guardians, and he was determined to explore a little further. Maybe he could, if not escape, at least get word out as he'd planned.
He was somewhat sidetracked by the smell of something very like caf, and ended up in a store where, after a bit of mutual misunderstanding, the young lady behind the counter had taken pity on the fact he apparently had no local currency and given him a paper cup of something she called coffee. It was close enough to caf, anyway.
So now he was standing outside the shop and sipping that, trying to figure out what his next move should be.
[Open Perk for your coffee needs, or come say hi to Galen!]

But the siren call of coffee was strong, and she forced a small smile and said, "Hello, Doctor Lecter."

"Jyn?" He started to reach a shaky hand toward her, then stopped himself. "Is it really you?"

But something about his face, the way he was dressed, the tone of his voice, made her desperately want to believe. "Papa?" she whispered.

"H-how are you here?" she stammered. Warnings of Fandom's weirdness hadn't prepared her for this.

"This is Fandom. It's a school. Saw sent me here." She was going to ignore the question of "well" because she didn't think he'd want to know his daughter had been running around and risking her life fighting the Empire.

"Did he find me and bring me here?" It seemed too great a coincidence otherwise. "Does the Empire know yet?"
They would find out. They always did.

Who was teaching a class where he was actively trying to kill his students, but details.

Today she also was wearing some of Eliot Spencer's girlfriend's stuff, which at least fit, even if it was a little short in the leg. It also wasn't girl and terrible, which improved her mood yesterday, once she'd gotten food and coffee and calmed down. And avoided the hell out of Noah, because that guy... made her really uncomfortable.
A quick walk around the Island she was on had confirmed that the only way off was the damn Causeway, and trying various other phones had confirmed that nope, no one was answering for her. Whatever Jarod (or something, or someone else) had done, she was stuck here without enough money to even get a goddamn cab.
A really large coffee and a cigarette bummed off some guy near a convenience store were the only things making life worthwhile.

"Ain't run off back to New Orleans yet, huh?" he asked Miss Parker. "How nice of you to stick around."

That had been a large motivation in getting her gun back, yes.

"So. What's a badass cowboy like yourself doing in a recreationist's wet dream of a tiny village?"
no subject
She didn't get to know any more than that unless she asked specifically.

"What, no hidden agenda? No covert operations? No sting? I think I'm disappointed."

And, well. Honestly, he'd just needed to get the hell out of his house for awhile.
He a large red-eye and looked around the shop while he waited for it to be prepared. "Doc," he greeted, then squinted. "Or -- Not-Doc, I'm guessing."
Hannibal had a whole different hair thing going on, if nothing else.

"Well, I'm Eliot. Nice to meet ya. What brings you to town?"

He wasn't about to give his name to someone that might be an Imperial agent. Then again, any agent would probably know who he was on sight, wouldn't they?

Unless Jono was also something different this weekend. That was always a possibility.
"At least with a few pets runnin' around."
