Homecoming Carnival Post I | The Park | Friday, October 20

The park had been transformed into the traditional Homecoming Carnival, open for everyone: students, teachers, townies and of course for visiting alumni.

"I don't have to make sense," Anakin declared.

As an answer to that, Jaina and her great aim threw the ball at the target.

And down Anakin went, sputtering.

"I let her do that," he told the twins. "So you know."

"Sure you did. High five, babies!" she said, picking Dax's arm up to make him high five her.

"You're not my favorite granddaughter any more," Anakin said, wiping his hair out of his eyes.

That wasn't at all true. He adored Jaina.

"Liar," she smiled. "You free at all this weekend?"

"I've got tons of time," he said. "Coffee tomorrow, maybe?"

"Sure," Jaina agreed. "Maybe you'll even dry off by then."

"You're hilarious," Anakin said.
