Of course the Carnival offers plenty of food too, and there are rides and games for everyone to enjoy.

It was a smile that made her feel slightly weak in the knees, especially since she hadn't been this physically close to anyone since, well, the day she'd left to go home.

It was just so nice to have human contact again.

"Creative, huh? I think I'd like t' see that," she said, reaching up to brush her fingers over his cheek. "Hyacinthe, Prince of Travelers, will you be m' date to th' dance an' for th' weekend?"

Sure, she'd asked earlier, on one of her ridiculous postcards she'd sent him, in her utterly terrible attempt at writing in French. But asking in person just felt right.

"'Twould be my utmost honor," he said, bowing over her hand, his fingers brushing the inside of her wrist. "I shall be pleased to escort you to the dance, squire you about the carnival, and drop you off at your hotel with a chaste kiss good evening."

"But you just promised me creativity an' I got such a big room with so many pillows...what if I don't want no chaste kisses?" she asked, teasing, before trying to catch his lips with hers, and give him a good idea what kind of kisses she was hoping for.

"What the lady wants..." Hyacinthe responded raggedly, before diving back into that kiss, trying to communicate just how much he'd missed her with his mouth alone.

She'd missed him too, so very, very much... and then she remembered they were standing in the shadow of the ferris wheel and started tugging him along with her as they kissed.

"C'mon," she whispered, kissing him again. "I got an idea."

"So do I..." Hyacinthe said, though all of his ideas generally involved leaving the carnival and heading back to her room and her promise of hundreds of pillows. "Where...?"

Ada grinned wickedly and nodded in the direction of the ferris wheel. "Wanna reach new heights b'fore we go?"

Hyacinthe looked from the wheel to Ada and back. "Oh yes," he said. "Indeed. I have a feeling I'm going to absolutely love the view."
