Since her new coffee maker design had been a success this morning and a little charged up with the creative sketching for hypothetical weapons, Amaya came into the shop today determined to give the Squsihy machine another go. A part of her was beginning to feel her attempt to fix that last nozzle was futile, a pipe dream, a neverending quest of disappointment and heartbreak, but that didn't seem to stop her.

"There," she declared, brushing her hands against each other as she fit the panel back into place, and drew in a big breath. "There's no way Red is coming out of this thing now. None whatsoever. I finally got it, Apu, I just know it."

And yet, defying all logic, when she pulled the lever, guess what came out.

If you asked her, that Squishy machine absolutely deserved that kick it got, as well as the wrench to its side.
