Seivarden thought her flower arrangements were getting better, and making them was strangely calming. For a while she enjoyed a fantasy where she had retired from the military and found a nice home planetside, perhaps with rooms on the station too, and a garden full of flowers for making arrangements. Children perhaps, a lover, some relatives and clients.

She knew it would never happen but for a while she could hold back thinking about reality.

The arrangements consisted mostly of green leaves with the occasional pink flower. Seivarden looked at them with some pride.
